Hemant Rastogi dies. When the police search his abandoned house, they find his son Tejas locked up in the cellar. Tejas has a snow white skin and no hair on his body. He has not left his house for eighteen years, only reading about the world outside of his room. Tejas is sent to a center for orphans and criminal youngsters, run by Purva Rana and her father. Purva is immediately fascinated by Tejas' supernatural powers while he struggles with this new world he has just discovered and finds the world outside is not black and white as in the books, but grey. At the center he attends classes where he clashes with his school mates when he demonstrates his powers and high intelligence.
Being able to heal, the owner of the center whose wife has fallen into a coma tries to use him to awaken her. He is soon discovered by the men of a greedy scientist who tries to misuse Tejas. Tejas uses his powers to destroy the laboratory, however, Purva gets killed in the process. Tejas tries to use his supernatural powers to bring back her life but fails to do so. In his depression he eventually returns to his life of solace in the cellar of his home.
